NorQuest’s Family Caregiver Wellness Workshops provide free, informative training. An experienced and certified healthcare practitioner presents each workshop in an easy-to-understand manner.
In this workshop, you’ll learn how to assist with your loved one’s mobility needs while protecting your own physical health and safety.
Learning outcomes:
- Learn how to better manage stress and physical burnout for both you and your loved one
- Learn about safe body mechanics for assisting with movement in the home environment
- Learn how to better assess your loved one’s health and ensure any negative changes are effectively communicated to a healthcare practitioner for earlier detection
In this two-hour, online workshop you’ll also learn about complimentary technology that will assist with your daily care practices and help reduce stress and pressure for you and your loved one.
