Are you caring for a family member or loved one with declining health or a chronic condition? Do you often find it difficult to effectively communicate with them?

Family Caregiver Wellness Workshops empower caregivers to provide informed, skilled care to their loved ones. Taught by health-care professionals, each workshop contains helpful information designed to clarify your role and increase your confidence.

In this workshop, you’ll learn effective communication strategies to ensure the needs of your loved one are met. The workshop material will focus on nonviolent communication techniques.

The skills you acquire will help you reframe and focus on the person, not the behaviour, so you can approach, connect, and engage with your loved one.

Learning outcomes:

  • Explore barriers to effective communication and methods to avoid them
  • Discuss techniques that promote effective communication
  • Discuss causes of conflict and how to resolve them
  • Discuss Trauma-Informed Communication
  • Apply communication strategies to your own caregiving situation

Join us for this FREE, online workshop. You’ll also have the chance to connect with other caregivers and have your questions answered.
