As a family caregiver, do you feel anxious, stressed, and confused around mealtime? Are you worried that you’re not preparing your loved one’s food properly or that they’re not receiving the right nutrition?

Perhaps you’ve even attempted your own research, but finding the right information isn’t easy, and you’re not sure if you’re practicing the right procedures.

Mealtime and Medication Assistance will provide the information, guidance, and techniques you need to become a confident caregiver.

In this free, two-hour virtual workshop, you’ll learn:

  • Techniques for food consistency and prevention of choking
  • Factors that can affect your loved one’s nutritional status and desire to eat
  • Strategies and assistive devices to assist with mealtime challenges
  • Methods for assisting with nutrition
  • How to safely assist with medication administration

This workshop will also help you assess the health of your loved one to ensure negative changes are detected sooner and communicated with a health-care provider. After participating, you’ll feel confident knowing you’re providing safe and effective care for your loved one.

Join us for this FREE, online workshop taught by health-care professionals. You’ll also have the chance to connect with other caregivers and have your questions answered.
