Do you have a loved one suffering from dementia? Are you one of their primary caregivers, but you feel confused, overwhelmed, and isolated as you try to navigate their illness and the health-care system?
Perhaps you’ve even attempted your own research, but finding the right information isn’t easy, and you’re not sure if you’re practicing the right procedures.
Supporting a Person with Dementia will provide the information, guidance, and techniques you need to become a confident caregiver.
In this free, two-hour virtual workshop, you’ll learn:

- Dementia strategies to use when supporting a loved one at home
- How the disorder progresses and changes to expect
- Effective communication techniques when supporting a person with dementia
- How to identify self-care measures to maintain your health as a caregiver
This workshop includes a combination of class lecture and a simulation experience. After participating, you’ll feel confident knowing you’re providing safe and effective care for your loved one.
