Safe Disclosure Office
Has something wrong happened to you? Are you trying to figure out what to do next?
The Safe Disclosure Office is where you can tell someone about what you've seen or experienced. You can do it safely; your information and reasons for reaching out will remain private.
We are here to listen, support, and guide you.
What is safe disclosure?
Safe disclosure means you can share your concerns about wrongdoing or improper actions with full protection. Your information will never be shared without your permission, and NorQuest's policy ensures that anyone who speaks up is safe from harm or punishment resulting from their disclosure.
At NorQuest, safe disclosure is more than a policy—it’s our commitment to your well-being and part of our goal to create a safe, welcoming environment for all. Learn more about how the vision and mission of the Safe Disclosure Office support this effort!

Disclosure support
You can think of the Safe Disclosure team as the experts in guiding you through the 'next steps' at NorQuest College. When you bring your disclosure to us, we are here to listen, ask the right questions, help you understand your options, and navigate NorQuest policies and processes. You have full control over when and how you receive support. Any actions moving forward will only be taken with your consent, and we will guide you on how and where to bring your concerns to the right people.

Workshops
Safe disclosure is an essential right in the NorQuest community. That’s why we offer two workshops tailored to different needs: one for staff and faculty to learn how to support students effectively and one for students to better understand their options and resources.
Receiving and responding to disclosures
If you're a staff member unsure how to respond when a student comes to you with a disclosure, this training from the Safe Disclosure Office team will equip you with the tools and knowledge to provide appropriate, supportive responses.
Navigating disclosure: Culture of care
Are you a student wanting to understand your rights to confidentiality and the supports available at NorQuest? Join this peer-led workshop to connect with other students and gain valuable insights!
