CLB 3 - 4 Credit - LINC 7003

Discuss interesting topics based on real-life situations. Learn to use more challenging sentence structures when you speak and write. Improve your speaking by practising dialogues, playing language games, and giving oral presentations in class. Improve your comprehension by listening to the radio, watching films, analyzing the news, and reviewing assignments. Improve your reading by learning to identify the main ideas and to skim, scan, and predict vocabulary meaning from context. Learn to use correct structures, accurate spelling, and correct punctuation as you write messages, reports, and compositions. Lecture hours will be comprised of a variety of activities in a variety of learning environments.
