Professional Practice for Pharmacy Technicians - PHRM 1004

Examine the responsibilities of the pharmacy technician to the profession and the practice of pharmacy; explore the role of the technician with common self-medication products.  Utilizing excellent patient-centred communication skills, learn to describe and demonstrate accurate and safe patient teaching for use of common devices and aids.

Prerequisites: COMM 1001, ENGL 2510, PHRM 1003, PHRM 1020, and PHRM 1030 Corequisite: PHRM 1013
