About Esports at NorQuest College

NorQuest established an Esports community to create a sense of college pride amongst learners while also providing an inclusive environment for gamers to gather and express themselves.

Our strategy focuses on three key pillars:;

• Community gaming and entertainment 
• Competitive gaming through online and in-person tournaments and events 
• Academic research and programming that helps shape the inter-collegiate landscape for post-secondary institutions in Alberta and beyond. 

We are a hub for competitive and casual Esports in Edmonton. As a rapidly growing industry, Esports is always evolving, and we are consistently adding new members to our community.

After the pandemic restrictions were lifted, I chose to visit Jackie Nguyen and Carlo Martin on campus at NorQuest College. They saw the value in what Memory Express was building in support of the Canadian education and esports sectors. Today, ACADME education purchase program and MEsports are thriving, and it's largely thanks to the business enterprise team at NorQuest College. Relocating to Edmonton was the obvious choice to ensure the success of our joint venture.
