$750 Tuition Credit Contest Rules

These Rules and Regulations apply to the Tuition prize, which will be awarded to guests at NorQuest College’s Info Night

The Prize: A one-time credit valued up to a maximum of $750 which may be solely applied to tuition fees for program credit, and may not be applied to various ancillary fees (i.e. application or Student Services fees.)

The Rules:

  1. No purchase necessary. To enter the contest, an individual must complete and submit an entry before 8:00 pm at the NorQuest College Info Night on February 28, 2019.
  2. To claim The Tuition Prize (“The Prize”) the selected Entrant must meet all entrance requirements or course prerequisites. S/he must be attending classes by January 2020. Normal admissions criteria apply and the Selected Entrant is not guaranteed admission into a program or registration in a course. Exemption may apply due to wait lists.
  3. A maximum total of 1 entry per person will be accepted. The chances of winning are dependent upon the total number of eligible entries received.
  4. Open to individuals who are eligible to attend NorQuest College, except employees of NorQuest College. The contest is not open to Quebec residents.
  5. A random selection will be made the following week from all eligible entries received and all decisions with respect to the selection process are final.
  6. One prize will be awarded. Before being declared as winner of any prize the selected entrant must correctly answer a time limited, skill-testing, mathematical question posed during a pre-arranged telephone interview or by mail. The selected entrant will be contacted within three (3) weeks of the contest closing date.
  7. Before being declared a winner, the selected entrant will be required to sign a copy of these rules and regulations as the declaration and release form: A) Confirming compliance with contest rules and acceptance of prizes as offered; B) Acknowledging the non-responsibility of NorQuest College and the prize suppliers and their agents in respect to injuries, accident, loss or misfortune relating to the prize; C) Acknowledging NorQuest College and their agents’ right to publish and broadcast the winner’s picture, name, address, voices, and statements without further compensation other than the prize offered.
  8. All entries become the property of NorQuest College and none will be returned.
  9. Prizes must be accepted as offered and no substitutions are allowed. Prizes are not transferable and are not convertible to cash, In the event of the prize recipient’s withdrawal from a Full-time program or Part-time studies course no cash refund will be made. Tuition credit voucher cannot be used towards tuition already paid in the event that the student has pre-registered for a course/program and has paid a deposit/full tuition.
  10. NorQuest College reserves the right to cancel this promotion at any time for any reason whatsoever.
  11. If a selected entrant is unwilling or unable to comply with the contest rules, that entrant will be disqualified and another entry will be drawn from the remaining eligible entries received.
  12. By claiming any prize selected entrants waive the right to claim any costs of winning any prize including, but not limit to, and all costs of verification and redemption or travel to redeem any prize, and bear in full any liability which might arise from redeeming or seeking to redeem said prize.
  13. The contest is subject to all Federal, Provincial and Municipal laws and tax regulations.
