Communication and Social Skills in Autism Spectrum Disorder - ASDS 1003

Learners will explain the range of social communication and social interaction abilities of people with autism. Learners will interpret various strategies that support the development of social communication and social interaction skills for assisting individuals to have meaningful relationships. Learners research different communication tools that are used in homes and community settings.

Note: Restricted to Autism Studies and Behaviour and Regulation Studies.


This course is delivered in a classroom setting with face-to-face instruction at regularly scheduled times.
