In this course, students are invited to scrutinize the normative constructs that govern contemporary media landscapes. Through deep analysis and discussion, students will develop the tools to understand and critique prevailing media structures, identify their genesis and ideological bases, and envision more inclusive and egalitarian ways of mediating and circulating information. This course fosters a critical lens through which to engage with new media, preparing students to navigate and shape the evolving communications of tomorrow.
