Universal Design and Adaptive Instruction - EDAS 1002

In this course, students will identify and explore the principles of universal design for learning and differentiated instruction. They will learn strategies to differentiate instruction to accommodate differences in language, culture, learning needs, and exceptionalities within the classroom. The course will also address using adaptive and assistive technology resources to support children’s success in the educational setting.

Note: Restricted to Educational Assistant.


This course is delivered in a classroom setting with face-to-face instruction at regularly scheduled times.
