This course introduces Engineering students to fundamental design processes and theory in a multidisciplinary context. The course emphasizes to Engineering design principles related to communications, teamwork, Engineering disciplines and careers, and professional responsibilities including: ethics, equity, sustainability, environmental stewardship, collaboration consultation with Indigenous communities, public and worker safety, and health considerations (including consideration of the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act).
