Indigenous Studies II - INST 2000

Indigenous Studies II provides a detailed examination of the present-day issues and circumstances of Indigenous Canadians with a focus on the Residential School system, the Sixties scoop, Inuit relocation, "authenticity", and stereotypes.

Note: Prerequisite INST 1000. Restricted to Arts and Sciences Diploma, Indigenous Studies and Open Studies.


This course is delivered in a classroom setting with face-to-face instruction at regularly scheduled times.
