Therapeutic Modalities - THPR 1103

Explore the fundamental concepts and theory related to therapeutic modalities. Learn to apply various physical therapy modalities such as thermal therapy, cryotherapy, ultrasound, traction, and electrotherapy. Practise educating clients on the modalities applied. All students taking this course will be required to attend the scheduled in-person lab(s) at NorQuest College Edmonton campus.

Note: Prerequisites: COMM 1001, THPR 1100. Co-requisites: ANPH 1004, PATH 1020. Restricted to Interdisciplinary Therapy Assistant.


This course is delivered in a classroom setting with face-to-face instruction at regularly scheduled times.
