Introduction to Health Data Queries - XHLT 3100

This course provides an overview of the role of databases in a healthcare environment. Students will be introduced to Structured Query Language (SQL) and will learn and practise interacting with a database, including accessing, inputting, querying, cleaning, and transforming data. All training will be delivered using examples of healthcare-specific data.

Please note that it is important that you have access to a computer that does not have an an Apple operating system (i.e. a Mac product) for the last 2 modules of this course. The software used to practice does not work easily on Apple operating systems. 
All coursework is completed independently with no direct instructor support. A program email is available should any assistance be required.
