High School Prep Math - MATH 1905

Study the basic algebraic skills required for high school mathematics courses. Topics include number systems, rational numbers, algebraic expressions, patterns and equations, problem solving, exponential laws, measurement, shape and space, graphing, and geometry.

Note: Prerequisite 50% in MATH 1904. Restricted to Academic Upgrading.

An introductory course for high school mathematics. Topics include number systems, integers, fractions, algebra, exponents, measurement, trigonometry, polynomial factoring, relations and functions, and problem solving. This course prepares students to enter the -1 and -2 sequences of Mathematics 20.

This course is delivered in a classroom setting with face-to-face instruction at regularly scheduled times.
