Business analysis professionals play a vital role in helping organizations maximize their potential. Using data, analytics, and business intelligence these individuals support businesses to enhance their efficiency, improve their ROI, reduce costs, and improve customer experiences.
This one-year professional certificate program will prepare you for work as a business analyst, with the skills needed to take a problem, analyze requirements, design a solution, plan for implementation, and measure the improvements. Once you learn the skills and the theory, you will have the opportunity to put it into practice. Courses cover a wide range of topics related to supply chain, including:
- Business analysis planning, monitoring, and improvements
- Management information systems
- Cost and accounting systems
- Business data analytics
- Management of data systems and security
- Organizational culture and communication
- Personnel information systems and administration
- Report preparation
This is a non-credit program that issues a professional certificate upon successful completion of the courses.
Program information:
- Classes occur during daytime hours, 5 days per week
- Courses are assignment and participation focused
- This program is not eligible for participation in the Students’ Association of NorQuest College, and does not provide a U-Pass or health and dental benefits
Graduate with experience
This program includes a mandatory 12-week work practicum where you can gain real-world experience.
The Business Analysis program includes a career services team to assist with your search for a three-month work placement. You will end the program with a capstone project that challenges you to work through a real-world problem from start to finish.
