Laddering opportunities

Students who complete the Early Learning and Child Care certificate program may receive the direct entry into the Year 2 of the Early Learning and Child Care – diploma diploma program or credit towards the Disability Studies program at NorQuest College:

Visit Transfer Alberta to look up courses that are accepted by other post-secondary institutions.

Further education opportunities

Graduates of the Early Learning and Child Care certificate program should consider the NorQuest Early Learning and Child Care – diploma program to progress to supervisor-level opportunities in child care.

Additional certification

Graduates of the certificate program are eligible for Early Childhood Educator II certification from Alberta Human Services.
