Further education opportunities
Following successful completion of your ESL courses, you may continue on to further English language training, Academic Upgrading, or post-secondary programs at NorQuest or another post-secondary institution (provided you meet program admission requirements).
Some NorQuest College English for Academic Purposes courses are equivalent to English Language Arts courses and are recognized by post-secondary institutions in Alberta. English for Academic Purposes courses may be used for meeting both:
- academic admissions requirements for programs at NorQuest College and other post-secondary institutions
- English language proficiency (ELP) requirements for NorQuest College programs
Equivalencies are noted in course descriptions, and ELP requirements are listed under each program.
