What to expect from the program

Supply Chain specialists are data-driven decision makers that are essential for efficient business operations and the movement of goods. The field involves building, maintaining, and supporting efficient supply chain processes.

This one-year professional certificate program is designed to be completed post diploma or degree to prepare you for the various aspects of working in supply chain – including logistical planning, operations management, procurement, shipping, delivery & transportation, inventory & warehousing, bidding & contract management, global logistics, and business planning principles.

Courses cover a wide range of topics related to supply chain, including:

  • Supply chains, demand and management
  • Procurement
  • Contract management
  • Logistics administration and management
  • Material and operations management
  • logistics planning
  • Global sourcing and supply chain networks
  • Supply chain risk

This is a non-credit program that issues a professional certificate upon successful completion of the courses.

Program information:

  • Classes occur during daytime hours, 5 days per week
  • Courses are assignment and participation focused
  • This program is not eligible for participation in the Students’ Association of NorQuest College, and does not provide a U-Pass or health and dental benefits

Graduate with experience

This program includes a mandatory 12-week work practicum where you can gain real-world experience.

This program prepares you to start a career in supply chain in a variety of different positions, or to gain supply chain management specific skills to enable advancement of your current role in industry. Graduates of the Supply Chain Management professional certificate program are workforce ready, and can be employed in positions such as:
