Request a workshop

At VPS, we provide education on violence prevention and creating a culture of care.

Our workshops provide students, staff, and instructors with relevant and impactful information on a variety of violence-specific topics. They are designed to help support persons gain additional skills when working with survivors of violence, while also raising awareness, promoting a culture of consent, and ensuring students and staff across the college have access to the resources and services they need.

Workshop topics include but are not limited to:

  • Conflict resolution
  • Supporting those who have been harmed
  • Receiving disclosures
  • Community-based support
  • What is sexual violence
  • Working with people who cause harm
