The Office of the Registrar plays a central role at NorQuest College as each prospective student, applicant, student, and graduate work with staff in the Office of the Registrar throughout their student journey. We:
- provide information about college programs, policies, and processes
- advise prospective students on programs, delivery modes, fees, referrals for funding, and the admission process
- issue student ID and clinical ID cards
- coordinate the Convocation ceremony each year
- maintain the academic timetable and scheduling of courses
Admissions
- Processes applications for admission for all credit and non-credit programs
- Evaluates high school and post-secondary transcripts to determine if applicants meet admission criteria
- Communicates with applicants throughout the admission process
- Makes admission decisions and issues official offers of admissions to applicants
Important: The Admissions Department is the only department at NorQuest College which may offer admission to an applicant. Contact Admissions for more information.
Enrolment and student records
- Oversees all credit and non-credit program and course enrolments and changes to enrolment
- Produces transcripts and credentials for certificates and diplomas
- Grade administration – maintains and monitors final grades each term
- Maintains student records and files
- Fulfills student FOIP requests
Learner pathways
- Processes transfer credit and prior learning assessment and recognition (PLAR) requests
Student financials
- Financial administration
- Advises students of outstanding financial status and consequences
- Monitors active students’ financial accounts to full payment or withdrawal
- Confirm status for student loan approval
