Courses for * May 2025
Program completion time depends on your chosen delivery option:
- 8-month or 12-month full-time options available - Full-time status requires 11+ credits per term
- Part-time students typically finish in 18 months.
Courses in this program must be taken in a certain sequence to match Government of Alberta requirements. We have outlined the courses in order for the 8-month completion on the right. Students learning online with in person labs (Fall term), in the evening, or in Wetaskiwin will take 3 terms, approximately 12 months.
12 month program completion path (Online (Fall term), Evening and Wetaskiwin deliveries):
- Term one: HLTH 1031, HLTH 1032, and HLTH 1034
- Term two: HLTH 1033, HLTH 1550, and HLTH 2016
- Term three: HLTH 2017, HLTH 2550, HLTH 2551, and HLTH 3000
You must complete nine courses and the Provincial Comprehensive Exam to graduate. The Provincial Comprehensive Exam must be completed within 60 days of the successful completion of HLTH 2551.
